Book+Art Faire to be held at The AUK Market on Aug. 29

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – On Saturday, August 29, The AUK Market will host a free family-friendly book and art faire featuring the unique talents and originality of Gainesville’s local authors and artists. Check out books by local authors, back-to-school swag, and other special treats at this back-to-school event. Perfect for kicking off the school year with creativity and fun!

WHEN: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on August 29

WHERE: 2031 NW 6th Street

There will be a special donation area for the partnership of Gainesville Thrives & Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which supplies free books for children in Alachua County, ages 0-5 years.

Over 40 authors, artists, local vendors, and makers will be sharing their work at indoor and outdoor spots on the beautiful Curia on the Drag property. This is a great opportunity to support writers and creative local and small brands here in Gainesville! 

Invite your best book club friends and discover some new local finds!

Food trucks, coffee, and tasty drinks will be available 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
