The Honorable Walter M. Green of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida will swear in Chief Scott as the next chief of police of the Gainesville Police Department.
Chief Scott’s 37-year career in law enforcement includes working in and supervising every component of a law enforcement agency from administration to patrol.
