Congresswoman Kat Cammack Tapped To Serve On Two House Agriculture Committee Subcommittees During 117th Congress

Today, the House Committee on Agriculture Ranking Member Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) announced Congresswoman Kat Cammack will serve as a member of two subcommittees during the 117th Congress: Commodity Exchanges, Energy & Credit and Nutrition, Oversight & Department Operations.
“I’m honored to serve on these two esteemed subcommittees this Congress. Agriculture is critically important to the state of Florida, having served as our number one economic driver in 2020,” said Cammack. “As a member of these subcommittees, I’ll work to support the constituents of Florida’s Third Congressional District and look forward to supporting the Sunshine State’s farmers, ranchers, and producers.”
The Commodity Exchanges, Energy & Credit Subcommittee has jurisdiction over commodity exchanges; agricultural credit; rural development; energy; and rural electrification. The Nutrition, Oversight & Department Operations Subcommittee has jurisdiction over nutrition policies and domestic commodity distribution.
