Customer injured after car crashed through the glass at Tire Outlet
Press release from Gainesville Police Department
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Fire Rescue and Gainesville Police Department responded to the Tire Outlet on North Main Street for a Lincoln Town Car that crashed into the glass lobby. Upon arrival, crews discovered the vehicle halfway into the building. The elderly driver was uninjured, but a woman waiting in the lobby was injured with lacerations from the broken glass and a neck injury. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening. After our investigation, it was determined that the driver had just arrived at the business for service when his foot slid off the brake. The employees at the business did a tremendous job of assisting those involved until we arrived.
I guess the car diagnostic was pretty easy.
Wonder which world famous attorney is going to be taking on this case? Neck injury, proper stop measures not effective…
“Elderly driver” who may have stepped on the wrong pedal,
Bobby should of protected his customer – by throwing his body in front of car 🙁
