Deputies assist FHP with pursuit through Alachua County

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – There was a large law enforcement presence at Newberry Road and I-75 earlier this afternoon while Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) in pursuing a driver. Deputies unsuccessfully attempted to intervene with Stop Sticks, but FHP troopers were ultimately able to stop the car and take the suspect into custody.

When they can’t prevent criminal drivers in cars, why do they think they can stop crazy criminals with guns?
