DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity increasingly are part of our everyday work life. Learn to navigate this evolving technology landscape and provide effective leadership at a free program titled “AI\, Cybersecurity\, Leadership\, OH MY!” \nThe Digital Health Information Technology Education Summit will be held 9 a.m. to noon on March 15\, 2024\, at Santa Fe College’s Blount Hall\, 530 W. University Ave. The summit is presented by Santa Fe College’s Health Information Technology program\, in collaboration with the college’s Business Programs\, Information Technology Education\, Emerging Technologies and the Northeast Florida Health Information Management Association (NFHIMA). \nThe summit is open to all industry sectors and is designed to help participants address the question: “Where will you be in 10 years?”  Students\, educators\, business and community leaders are invited to participate. \nThe program will address: \n  \n\nAI Leadership Strategies\nCybersecurity Strategies\nFuture Workforce Skills and\nEducation programs to support workforce skills\n\nTwo one-hour sessions will focus on technology trends followed by discussion among the audience and industry leaders. DESCRIPTION:Prospective students and their families are invited to Santa Fe College’s (SF) Northwest Campus Saturday\, March 23 for the college’s annual Open House event. \n  \nSF faculty and advisors will be on hand to talk to students about programs available at the college\, including Career and Technical Education\, Emerging Technologies\, Fine Arts\, Graphic Design\, Health Sciences\, Public Safety and more. \n  \nThere will also be informational sessions on paying for college\, international opportunities\, student success\, career connections\, degree options and student life and activities. There will also be advisors from the University of Florida providing information about transferring to UF after earning an associate degree at SF. \n  \nOpen House begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. on SF’s Northwest Campus\, 3000 NW 83 Street\, Gainesville. Following the event\, attendees can also visit the SF Teaching Zoo or watch the SF Women’s Softball game.
