Florida Legends Card Show brings biggest sports and Pokémon card show to Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla — The Florida Legends Experience is pleased to announce the inaugural FL Legends Card Show, a weekend event for collectors, traders, and enthusiasts for sports and trading card games, like Pokémon, held the weekend of August 22–23, 2026, at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center (4870 Celebration Pointe Avenue).

On Saturday, August 22, the floor is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a free Trade Night, perfect for kids, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The excitement continues on Sunday, August 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission for the Saturday and Sunday shows is $5. Hundreds of vendors have claimed their spots already, making this the biggest card show in North Central Florida. Whether you’re a long-time enthusiast in what is known as “The Hobby,” just getting started, or just interested in seeing the scene, this weekend is sure to pack the thrills.

The FL Legends Card Show is partnering with the Isaiah 117 House, providing a safe, comforting home where these children spend time with friendly and loving volunteers while child welfare staff do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement. Proceeds from tickets go to support construction of a home in Alachua County.
