Food delivery driver arrested for indecent exposure at playground parking lot

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tavellion Shaqur Ullah, 26, was arrested this morning for allegedly exposing himself in the parking lot of the Kiwanis Challenge Playground (2002 NW 36th Avenue).
At about 7:40 a.m. on September 21, a Gainesville Police Department officer responded to the parking lot at the park, where the victim said she had been sitting in her car when she saw Ullah masturbating in his car, with the door open. The victim reportedly took a video of the incident while calling law enforcement.
The officer reported that the video showed Ullah sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with the door open, actively masturbating, with his genitals exposed.
Post Miranda, Ullah reportedly said he was not masturbating but was just “hanging out” before starting his Uber Eats shift. Even after he was told the incident was captured on video, he continued to deny masturbating in a public place.
Ullah has been charged with indecent exposure of sexual organs. He has three felony convictions and one misdemeanor conviction; he has served one state prison sentence and was released in 2023. A sworn complaint alleging that he made a written threat to kill was filed in 2023, but the charge was later dropped. Judge Luis Bustamante set bail at $150,000.

OMG there really has to be better vetting of gig workers, especially food related. It seems a lower standard than fast food places have.
