GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jennifer Marie Guthrie, 40, was arrested this morning and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman and resisting arrest after allegedly shoving and punching a woman at the Circle K at 3525 SW 34th Street.

A Gainesville Police Department officer reported that Guthrie ran toward the pregnant woman, shoved her into a door, and punched her several times in the face and head. Guthrie also allegedly kicked open the door of the officer’s patrol vehicle as it was being opened for her when she arrived at the jail; she also allegedly tried to pull away from the officer.

Surveillance video reportedly showed Guthrie attacking the victim.

Post Miranda, Guthrie reportedly said the victim had been harassing her for weeks and denied attacking the victim.
