GPD searching for suspect in bank robbery

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at approximately 1:26 p.m., a white male (pictured above and below), entered and committed a robbery at the PNC Bank, located at 4340 Newberry Road. The suspect entered the branch and approached the teller stating that he had a bomb and demanding all of the 100s and 50s. The suspect was in possession of a white plastic bag, in which he placed the money he obtained from the teller. The suspect then fled from the bank and has not been located.

GPD Detectives are actively investigating this case, following up on leads, and collecting and evaluating evidence.
