High Springs man arrested for pointing AR-15
BY JENNIFER CABRERA
HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Steven Michael Braden, 33, was arrested yesterday and charged with simple battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after pushing a woman down a flight of stairs and pointing an AR-15 at a man.
At about 7:35 p.m. yesterday, Braden allegedly got into an argument with the victims at a residence in High Springs, pushed a woman down some stairs, and hit her in the face. After a second victim picked up a board, Braden allegedly went inside, picked up an AR-15, and pointed it at the victim.
Braden has no local criminal history; Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $100,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.Â
Idiot. No more guns for you
Finally, a decent bail amount set by Judge M-J
Buck must have been leaning over her shoulder.
Another example of poor journalism. Literally none of this happened the way it was written. Interview people perhaps
D – since you know so much why don’t you tell us what happened?
This is what alachua chronicle does. Defintly not a reliable source of information.
This is what the arrest affidavit says: “The Offender got into an argument over the Offender working on a generator. The Offender pushed Victim 1 down some stairs and hit her in the face. Victim 2 came at the Offender with a board. Victim 2 stated the Offender went inside and got an AR-15. The Offender pointed the AR-15 at Victim 2.”
