High Springs man charged with video voyeurism
Staff report
HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Trevize Henry Nixon, 40, has been charged with eight counts of video voyeurism after photos and videos were discovered on SD cards and thumb drives that reportedly belonged to him.
An Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Detective reported that Nixon was in state prison from 2021 to 2025, so all of the images and videos were created before 2021. The detective’s investigation found three photos that appeared to be taken from a phone or camera facing up from the ground or floor; each one showed an adult victim’s underwear under her dress. The videos show a victim walking over the camera, and the victim’s underwear can be seen under her clothing in each video.
On top of these eight images/videos, the devices reportedly contained “thousands” of other videos, and according to the detective, “the majority of the videos showed sexual deviant behavior.” Some of the videos showed Nixon “posing in sexually suggestive ways wearing women’s clothing,” and others showed him touching himself in public places, such as inside a stairwell or driving down the road in his car.
Some of the videos appeared to be taken in a public bathroom and showed women entering the bathroom and pulling their pants down to sit on the toilet.
Nixon was charged with eight counts of digital voyeurism via sworn complaint in July 2025, and formal charges were filed on November 18, after he was arrested on November 13 for failing to appear at a sentencing hearing after entering a plea of nolo contendere to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Nixon has three felony convictions (one violent), not including the drug charge, because he has not been sentenced yet. He has served three state prison sentences, with his most recent release in May 2025. He is also facing a sworn complaint for indecent exposure but has not yet been booked on that charge. Bail on the video voyeurism charges is set at $400,000, but he must serve the sentence for the drug charge before he can post bail.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Creepy!
I was told he was the man who attempted to rape the delivery driver in High Springs in 2021. I believe it, all the pieces fit. I hope this scumbag goes to prison forever and his stupid wife/in laws stop letting him come right back home to our neighborhood if he gets out.
