A dedication ceremony will be followed by guided tours of the center. Enjoy light refreshments, explore the educational tables, experience a self-guided eye spy activity, and explore the nature park’s TRACK Trail.

Renovations on the circa 1890 farm house at Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Park were completed in 2021. The interior has since been developed into a nature center for the Gainesville community.

The renovation cost was approximately $478,000. Partial funding for the nature center was provided by Alachua County Wild Spaces & Public Places tax dollars. Click here to view photos of the nature center’s renovation.
