Press release from the Junior League of Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Junior League of Gainesville is inviting the Gainesville community to “Find the Good” on Thursday, September 17, 2026, with a day of events celebrating local impact, community partnerships, and the power of volunteers to make a difference.

The Find the Good Day will bring Junior League members, community supporters, and local residents together through three opportunities to connect and give back:

  • Kendra Scott Sip & Shop Giveback Event | 4–6 p.m.
Guests can sip, shop, and support local community initiatives, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting the Junior League’s community efforts. Online shoppers can use code GIVEBACK-MPZLE throughout the day.
  • City of Gainesville Proclamation | 5:30 p.m.
The City of Gainesville will officially recognize Find the Good Day with a proclamation during the City Commission meeting. Community members are encouraged to attend and celebrate this special recognition of local volunteerism and service.
  • P.F. Chang’s Giveback Dinner & Social | Evening
The celebration continues with an opportunity for members, friends, and supporters to gather for dinner, fellowship, and a giveback benefiting the Junior League’s community efforts.

We hope this day inspires our members to get involved, invites new people to learn about the Junior League, and reminds all of us that there is so much good happening right here in Gainesville.
