March 23 evening update: 36 cases in Alachua County

According to the stateĀ dashboard, Alachua County now has 36 COVID-19-positive cases (yes, this is a decrease from this morning, possibly caused by a mistake in this morning’s count), up from 35 at this time yesterday. No deaths have been reported. The average age of those who have tested positive in the county is 38.
The state has 1227 cases (an increase of 220 from this time yesterday) and 18 deaths.
45 COVID-19 tests are pending. 630 people have been tested so far in Alachua County, and 549 tests have come back negative, so 87% of the tests so far have been negative (7% are outstanding).
The statewide daily report says that there are 10 cases in Gainesville, 2 cases in Tioga, 3 cases in Newberry, 1 in High Springs, and 1 in Micanopy.
