If another city or county official speaks out loud without mentioning the word “pot holes” and “how we will fix them” they should be flogged and peppered with over-ripe tomatoes. FIX. OUR. ROADS!!!
Seems odd that rarely, if ever, anyone reads here anything about the years-long failures of other political parties’ to infiltrate/influence Gainesville and Alachua County.

Well done Jake 😁 Regardless of which party is in the majority, city and county politicians have always historically pissed away funds ear marked for road repair.
As soon as they smell the aroma of fresh tax dollars, they inevitably dip their dirty fingers into the pot and take a handful for whatever their hearts (and cronies) desire.
It is a sad fact of life in Alachua county. To ask for a detailed report of where the funds went is to commit blasphemy!
Vote em out or stop complaining.
