GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Below are the updated City of Gainesville traffic impacts scheduled for May 24-31, 2024.
New Notices
SW 20th Avenue: Southwest 20th Avenue, between Southwest 52nd Avenue and the I-75 bridge, will have nighttime lane closures and/or single lane flagging, from Tuesday, May 28-Sunday, June 2, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Continuing Notices
NW 12th Drive: Northwest 12th Drive, from Northwest Fifth Avenue to approximately 421 NW 12th Dr., will be closed from from May 21-25.
NW 12th Street: Northwest 12th Street will be closed to thru traffic, with detours, between Northwest Fourth Avenue to Northwest Fifth Avenue from Monday, May 20-Monday, June 17.
SW 10th Street: The northbound lane of Southwest 10th Street, between West University Avenue and Southwest First Avenue, will be closed April 3-June 5. During that time, only southbound traffic will be allowed.
Clark Butler Blvd. area: The new traffic signals at Clark Butler, Southwest 62nd Boulevard, and Southwest 43rd Street are turned on (in flashing mode). The traffic is guided through the intersection with traffic control devices.

NW 53rd avenue between 441 and Waldo road is a death trap.
Grooves in the road are gonna cause a head on collision.
Horrible road! But NO action regarding repairs!
