Santa Fe College Art Gallery and SF Teaching Zoo Partner on New Exhibit

The Santa Fe College Art Gallery and the SF Teaching Zoo have partnered for a unique exhibition focusing on the charm and artistry of the natural world. Natural Beauty features the work of local artists including John Moran, Wendy Free, Deb Lindberg, Vicki Santello, Veronica Villasénor, and more.  

This exciting exhibit, which will be on display at the SF Gallery July 1 through Aug. 5, 2022, will feature painting, printmaking, photography, as well as ceramic and sculptural works. The SF Gallery is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The SF Gallery will also hold special weekend hours July 23-24 coinciding with Zookeeper Days at the SF Teaching Zoo. 

Coinciding with the Natural Beauty exhibit, the SF Teaching Zoo is partnering with Pinspiration Gainesville for a Paint Party at the zoo. Artists ages 13 and up are invited to register for this guided painting event to create their very own turtle art piece Sunday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at the SF Teaching Zoo. Registration fee of $25 includes zoo admission, the guided painting experience with all supplies, and an animal encounter. Additional details are available when you register for this special event at showpass.com/zoopaintparty
