Tractor Supply unleashes another Animal Days event to celebrate pets, animals, and all those who care for them
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, announced today that Animal Days are back, just in time for the dog days of summer. The two-week event celebrates animals of all kinds and the people and organizations that care for them with exclusive deals, giveaways, adoption events, and donations. Leashed pets are invited and encouraged to join in the fun during Animal Days and throughout the year.
“From the backyard to the barnyard, animals both large and small are cherished members of our families, and our customers always want to give them the absolute best. But we also recognize that those day-to-day expenses can add up quickly,” said Nicole Logan, Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager at Tractor Supply. “Animal Days are an invitation to stock up on high-quality essentials while celebrating our beloved pets and animals. They are also a fun opportunity to celebrate the incredible owners, rescues, and shelters who dedicate themselves to these animals every day.”
Stock up on treats, toys, and quality nutrition
Pet and animal care is a priority for many Americans, as more than three quarters own at least one kind of pet. Food and treats make up around 96% of monthly pet expenses, followed closely by toys and vitamins or specialized nutrition. In response, Tractor Supply hosted its first Animal Days event in February, providing some welcome savings on many pet and animal favorites.
From now through Sunday, August 23, customers can once again enjoy exclusive deals on treats, toys, health and wellness care, and supplies, including some of the more than 200 new dog and cat items the Company added to its selection this summer. Animal Days deals include an extensive assortment of products from both well-known national brands and exclusive Tractor Supply brands that deliver consistently high quality at an exceptional value.
4health, one of Tractor Supply’s most popular exclusive brands, has more than 140 food products and formulas fit for every pet, providing optimal nutrition at nearly 25% less than national brands. Other customer favorites include Paws & Claws, Retriever, DuMOR, and Producer’s Pride.
A pawty for all
On Saturday, August 15, every Tractor Supply store is hosting an Animal Days celebration for the entire community and their leashed pets. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, stores will have free dog and cat treat tastings available from 4health, Paws & Claws, and Retriever, as well as special doorbuster deals all day, including:

- 50% off Paws & Claws 25lb cat litter

Supporting our shelters
While millions of pets enjoy the love of a forever home, millions more do not. In 2025, an estimated 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues across America. Many were adopted, but thousands remained. To celebrate and support the organizations that do the important work of caring for these unhoused animals, Tractor Supply and Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation host an annual Mutts Across America program. One shelter or foster-based rescue in every state, along with a “Wildcard” pick in honor of Lambert’s GRAMMY®-winning album of the same name, is selected to receive a $5,000 grant. Organizations are chosen based on strong community presence, high adoption rates, and exceptional care standards.
“Tractor Supply has been such a great partner for our Mutts Across America program for six years—and with so many other important MuttNation initiatives,” Lambert said. “We share the same heart for helping shelter pets, and I’m so proud of all the good we’ve been able to do together.”
This year, the sixth of the partnership, Tractor Supply will recognize many of the grant recipients in stores during the August 15 Animal Days event. Store Team Members will present shelter representatives with a jumbo check and a $50 Tractor Supply gift card to purchase additional supplies.
Since the initiative’s inception, MuttNation’s Mutts Across America has supported more than 500 shelters with upwards of $2 million in grants.
