Rivalry takes another step with a collaborative fitness challenge
The Florida versus Georgia rivalry has taken to the running trails as fans are invited to join the first-ever collaborative fitness challenge between the Gators and the Bulldogs. The virtual race will be held between April 1 – 22.
Registration for the virtual event begins today and can be accessed HERE.
Florida and Georgia fans will compete against one another in running/walking races, including a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 1-mile Kids Fun Run. Registration is $45 for one race, $50 for two, or $60 for the full race bundle and will be available until the last day of the race on April 22.
All registrants will receive a registration packet, including a Florida- or Georgia-branded long-sleeve dry fit shirt, the official race medal, and a car decal. Early bird registration closes on March 23 at 11:59 p.m. On March 24, the standard registration price will increase to $55.
Results of the run between April 1st and 22nd can be recorded back on the main race page. Click “View Results,” click “Submit a virtual result,” and follow the instructions to upload the result. To submit an official result, a screenshot of the run must be recorded on a workout app (Nike Run Club, Strava, Apple Watch’s Workout app, etc.).
