Update: The January 5 Art in Public Places Trust meeting has been canceled and rescheduled for January 19, 2022.

Please note that the following changes to the City Commission Regular Meeting procedures will take effect as of January 6, 2022:

• Meetings begin at 10 a.m., rather than 1 p.m.
  • The morning session (10 a.m.-12 p.m.) is intended for staff reports, business discussions and policy discussions.
  • The afternoon session (1-4:30 p.m.) includes general public comment, remaining business discussions and ordinances and resolutions not mandated to be heard in the evening.
  • Evening sessions (5:30-10 p.m. or earlier) include proclamations/special recognitions and ordinances and resolutions required to be heard in the evening.
• Neighbors who wish to give public comment at meetings will be asked to sign up prior to speaking.
  • Online sign-up in advance is available by visiting www.cityofgainesville.org > Agenda & Minutes page > eComment to register to speak.
  • In-person sign-up is available on the meeting day by filling out a speaker card upon arrival to City Hall.
