Virtual Fair Housing Community Forum

The Alachua County Equal Opportunity Office and the City of Gainesville Office of Equity and Inclusion are co-sponsoring a Virtual Fair Housing Community Forum on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Topics include City/County fair housing ordinances, the renter’s rights ordinance, and housing protections for Section 8 voucher holders, veterans, victims of domestic violence, and individuals with disabilities.

    You can’t live in it if you can’t pay the utilities for it.

  • There new landlord ordinance should require all
    Those units four or less must take section 8 and
    The affordable housing czar gets to place them,
    Not the landlord. And rent control. There’s plenty of
    Working people who want to live walking distance to
    UF. All new construction must take section 8 & rent control before construction approval.
