WALDO, Fla. – Antoinette Sameka Henneghan, 32, was arrested yesterday for allegedly threatening to shoot her brother while his children were nearby; she was also charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon.

At about 6:27 a.m. on September 12, Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to NE 148th Avenue, where the victim said Henneghan had gotten upset because she believed his children were eating her snacks. He said he heard the sound of a firearm racking, and then Henneghan walked to his bedroom, holding a pistol by her side and threatening to shoot everyone in the room while naming funeral homes.

The victim said Henneghan told him, “You think I’m playing,” before walking away, and he grabbed his children and ran out of the home to meet deputies at a nearby gas station.

Deputies obtained a search warrant, and a search of the home reportedly produced six bullets and a 9mm magazine in Henneghan’s bedroom, along with another four bullets in a tote container.

She has four felony convictions (three violent) and two misdemeanor convictions (non-violent); she recently served 180 days in the Alachua County Jail for violating probation and was released in April.
