Digital Health Information Technology Education Summit

Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity increasingly are part of our everyday work life. Learn to navigate this evolving technology landscape and provide effective leadership at a free program titled “AI, Cybersecurity, Leadership, OH MY!”

The Digital Health Information Technology Education Summit will be held 9 a.m. to noon on March 15, 2024, at Santa Fe College’s Blount Hall, 530 W. University Ave. The summit is presented by Santa Fe College’s Health Information Technology program, in collaboration with the college’s Business Programs, Information Technology Education, Emerging Technologies and the Northeast Florida Health Information Management Association (NFHIMA).

The summit is open to all industry sectors and is designed to help participants address the question: “Where will you be in 10 years?”  Students, educators, business and community leaders are invited to participate.

The program will address:

• AI Leadership Strategies
• Cybersecurity Strategies
• Future Workforce Skills and
• Education programs to support workforce skills

Two one-hour sessions will focus on technology trends followed by discussion among the audience and industry leaders. The program will conclude with an overview of workforce skills and development initiatives as well as a student poster contest presentation.

Participants may tour Blount Hall.  A continental breakfast will be served.
