4-H Open Enrollment begins on September 1

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Enrollment for the 2025–2026 4-H year opens on Sept. 1, 2025, and it is the perfect time to get involved. Adults and youth, ages 5 to 18, interested in volunteering are invited to join the largest youth development organization in the country, right here in Alachua County.

Whether you are interested in animals, STEM, public speaking, leadership, the creative arts, or exhibiting at the Alachua County Youth Fair, there is a 4-H club for you.

Youth membership is based on a child’s age as of Sept. 1, which runs from Sept. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2026. A $25.00 annual membership fee applies to youth ages 8 to 18 who are enrolling in community clubs.

New families can create a profile and enroll through 4-H online, and returning members should log in to update their information and re-enroll. To explore local club options, visit the 4-H website.
