4-H Youth Development Open House to be held Nov. 16

NEWBERRY, Fla. – The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following 4-H program for November 2024. This program is being offered by 4-H Youth Development Agent Mary Lee Sale.

2024 Alachua County 4-H Youth Development Open House – Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)

The open house is for teachers and families of youth ages 5 to 18 in Alachua County. This event is an opportunity to learn about the 4-H Youth Development Program and the activities available to youth throughout the county. 4-H is the University of Florida’s youth development program and aims to equip youth with life skills now and for the future. There will be booths for many 4-H community clubs that meet throughout the county and a booth highlighting the 4-H in-school programming available for free to teachers.
