City observes Juneteenth holiday on June 19

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, city offices will be closed Friday, June 19.
Residential curbside collection for garbage, recycling and yard waste will be picked up on the holiday.
No RTS bus service is scheduled for the holiday. Please plan accordingly.

G: garbage pickup has a higher priority than RTS…the garbage men should get the day off too like the city workers…
is the county doing the same thing?
I have to work like the lowly garbage man..no equity and inclusion for me like the city workers…it’s not fair!
