ASO investigates Sunday night shooting at The Crossings at Santa Fe

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple calls about gunshots at The Crossings at Santa Fe (3205 NW 83rd Street) at about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Deputies responding to the apartment complex located a crime scene, and other deputies on their way to the scene located a suspicious vehicle. One victim in the vehicle had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital by Alachua County Fire Rescue.
The case is still under investigation.
This place is a cesspool. NW crime is very high in this complex
Sad. The location would be so good for Santa Fe students, but the criminal activity is and always has been out of control
You would think. I know of someone that lived there and broke her lease because of the crime and drug activity. Sad. There is a mix of students and “affordable housing” tenants.
They need to up the rent by 300 and watch the crime go down
Yeah, then only drug dealers with money to burn will be able to live there.
