ACPS confirms schools will be open tomorrow, but no outdoor activities will be held during the school day

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – In a message to students’ families this evening, Alachua County Public Schools confirmed that after consulting with fire officials, Alachua County Emergency Management, and law enforcement about today’s wildfires and road closures, Alachua County Public Schools will be OPEN on Monday, April 20.

Out of an abundance of caution, there will be no outdoor activities during the school day on Monday. Information on extracurricular outdoor activities will be provided later tomorrow.
