ACSO investigating shooting death at Majestic Oaks Apartments

On April 23, shortly before 10 p.m., Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputies responded to Majestic Oaks Apartments regarding a report of a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim inside an apartment and provided emergency medical assistance. The patient was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

ACSO personnel are investigating this incident as a homicide. There are no suspects in custody as of this writing and the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing any names as this is an active and ongoing investigation.
