Alachua Chamber of Commerce grants to benefit children’s programs

ALACHUA, Fla. – The Alachua Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that funds raised during our annual SportsFest are now available to support youth initiatives right here in the City of Alachua!

These funds are dedicated to fostering environments where our children can grow in body, spirit, and mind, promoting education, development, and leadership.

We invite non-profits, community organizations, and groups serving the youth of Alachua to submit proposals for funding to support projects that align with these goals.

What We’re Looking For:

Eligible projects must:

Directly impact the youth of Alachua by enhancing their educational, physical, emotional, or spiritual development.
Promote community, leadership, and teamwork.
Inspire positive growth, encouraging healthy, engaged, and thriving young individuals.
Support youth programs or capital improvements in Alachua.

Extra Consideration: Projects with matching funds will be prioritized!

Key Dates:

Open Submission Period: November 1 – November 30, 2024
Submission Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on November 30, 2024
Award Announcements: January 2025
