Alachua County Environmental Protection Department Hosting Tree Planting Event

The Alachua County Environmental Protection Department’s Arboriculture Division will be hosting a Green Friday Tree Planting event in cooperation with the City of La Crosse. The Community is invited to participate. 18 trees will be planted along State Route 121 in an effort to enhance the City’s Streetscape and provide traffic calming through town.

Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021, at the La Crosse City Hall located at 20613 N State Road 121, in La Crosse.

Attendees are advised to wear sturdy work shoes and clothes, bring plenty of water, and be ready to help plant trees.
