Alachua County orders dentists to stop performing elective procedures

Alachua County Commission Chair Robert Hutchinson has issued Emergency Order 2020-05, stating that “Dentists and those who practice under their license shall not perform any elective procedures and services until such time as a State of Emergency ceases to exist in Alachua County or this restriction is lifted in writing.”

Violation of this order subjects the violator to arrest and criminal prosecution.
