Alachua County road and lane closures for the week of Nov. 22-28, 2025

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – FDOT and the City of Gainesville have announced the following road and lane closures for the week of Nov. 22-28, 2025:

  • State Road 26 at Hatchet Creek (Bridge #260033) (207761-2-52-01) (29.687911075105053, -82.20639086034188). Daytime lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road work.
  • U.S. 301 from State Road 20 to State Road 26 (207794-3-52-01) (29.66084954331791, -82.11544130628292). Daytime lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and nighttime lane closures Sunday through Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for road work.
  • Waldo Road at University Avenue (439489-2-52-01) (29.65199125566237, -82.3112684727599). Daytime lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for road work.
  • West University Avenue (State Road 26) from Gale Lemerand Drive to Buckman Drive (29.652088358476245, -82.34691734565862). Daytime and nighttime road closure Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for a permitted event. Law enforcement will assist with traffic management.

SE First Street: Southeast First Street will be closed between Southeast First Avenue and Southeast Second Avenue on Monday, Nov. 24.
