Alachua County Supervisor of Elections office will close on Thursday
Press release from Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Kim Barton
ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office will close on Thursday, September 26, due to Hurricane Helene. It is our plan to be open on Friday, September 27, unless it is determined that it is unsafe to do so based on conditions on the ground and after consulting with county- and state-level partners.
While we are closed, voters can continue to access our website at VoteAlachua.gov to find their General Election polling place and sample ballot, request a vote-by-mail ballot, and more. Voters can visit RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov to register to vote or update their voter registration.
Vote-By-Mail ballots will still be mailed on Thursday, September 26, as scheduled.
The Voter Registration Deadline for the 2024 General Election is October 7. Please click here to learn more
