Alachua County Supervisor of Elections, Property Appraiser offices to reopen May 18

The Josiah T. Walls Building, home to the offices of the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections and Alachua County Property Appraiser, will reopen May 18.

For the safety of members of the public and employees, the offices will require individuals who enter the building to wear masks and have their temperature taken. If an individual’s temperature is above 100.0°F, the offices will make alternative arrangements to provide services. These individuals will not be permitted entrance into the building.

Office hours for the Alachua County Property Appraiser will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections will open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The offices will limit their respective lobby spaces to two customers at a time. Citizens who are able to receive the services they require by phone or online are encouraged to do so.
