Alachua police investigate gun shop burglary

ALACHUA, Fla. – The Alachua Police Department is currently investigating an overnight burglary that occurred at Lawful Defense (9420 NW 13th St.) at approximately 12:52 a.m on April 27. Detectives believe the suspects entered through the roof of the building.
The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Forensics Unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are assisting with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
