Alachua woman killed in single-vehicle crash

ALACHUA, Fla. – A 34-year-old Alachua woman was killed this morning in a single-vehicle crash on CR 235.

According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 7:30 a.m. on June 8, the woman drove a sedan through the intersection of NW 157th Street and CR 235 and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The release states that it is unknown whether she was wearing a seatbelt.
