GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The American Red Cross is hosting a Shelter Hero Training on Thursday, August 21, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at their Gainesville office, located at 1425 NW 6th Street. This training is open to the public and is designed to prepare community members to support disaster shelter operations in times of need.
