Anthony Richardson to host free Youth Football Camp & Parent Summit on June 21
Press release from The Anthony Richardson Foundation
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – NFL quarterback Anthony Richardson is bringing his passion for the game and heart for the community to his hometown with the Anthony Richardson Football Skills Academy, hosted by the Anthony Richardson Foundation, taking place for free on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Citizens Field. Registration starts at 8 am. Camp begins at 9.
This free one-day academy is more than a football camp; it’s a powerful platform to teach leadership, discipline, and personal growth through high-level athletic training and character-building experiences. With over 250 youth athletes ages 6–16 expected to participate, the event offers a safe, supportive environment for young players to sharpen their skills and grow, both on and off the field.
“This is about more than football. It’s about showing kids that with hard work, discipline, and the right support, they can achieve anything on the field and in life,” said Anthony Richardson. “I want them to walk away from this experience believing in themselves and knowing they have a team behind them. ”
In a first-of-its-kind partnership, the event will include a Parent Summit, hosted by LaShawnda Cleare, proud mother of Anthony Richardson. The summit, “Navigating the Journey of Parenting Athletes,” will provide parents with expert-led conversations on crucial topics like financial literacy, mental health, legal services, and more, equipping families with tools to support their young athletes through every stage of their journey.
