GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Greater Gainesville Chamber is excited to announce that applications for the 2024 Business Awards will open on August 21st. This annual event celebrates our region’s standout businesses and organizations, recognizing the pivotal roles they play in fostering talent, innovation, and opportunity in our community.
The Business Awards honor Chamber members who exemplify excellence and innovation in their business practices and community involvement. This year’s categories include:
- Community Involvement Award
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award
- Employer of the Year
- Large Business of the Year
- Large Non-Profit of the Year
- Latin Owned Business of the Year
- Leading Women’s Business
- New Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Small Non-Profit of the Year
- Tech Company of the Year
- Veteran Owned Business of the Year
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of local business leaders, who will select the finalists and winners in each category. Finalists will be honored on December 5, 2024, at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel, located at 4200 NW 97th Blvd, Gainesville, Florida 32606.
