Assurance to host the 1st annual Caregiver’s Festival — a day to celebrate and support caregivers in our community

Press release from Assurance
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In a world where caregiving often goes unnoticed, Assurance is bringing attention, celebration, and resources to those who give so much. The nonprofit organization is proud to announce The Caregiver’s Festival, taking place on April 18, 2026 in Gainesville. This one-of-a-kind event is dedicated to honoring and uplifting family caregivers, while connecting them with the tools, joy, and community they so deeply deserve.
Caregivers — whether they are tending to aging parents, children with special needs, or loved ones with chronic illness — often carry an emotional, physical, and financial burden that is invisible to the world. Assurance is on a mission to change that.
“Caregivers are the silent backbone of so many families and communities,” said Virginia Grant, founder of Assurance. “This festival is our way of saying: You matter. You’re seen. And we’re here for you.”
The Caregiver’s Festival will feature a vibrant lineup of live entertainment, inspiring guest speakers, interactive workshops, wellness activities, and local vendors, all focused on supporting the caregiver’s mind, body, and spirit. From expert panels to massage stations, this is more than an event — it’s a day of recognition, rejuvenation, and resource-sharing.
Assurance is currently seeking community sponsors and partners to help bring this meaningful day to life. Sponsorship opportunities include a variety of promotional benefits for participating organizations. Sponsors are encouraged to commit by January 1, 2026 to ensure full inclusion in promotional materials and festival signage.
