Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday will run January 1-14

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The second back-to-school sales tax holiday for this school year will begin on January 1, 2024, and run through January 14.

During the sales tax holiday, the following items are exempt from sales tax:

  • Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories under $100 per item
  • Certain school supplies under $50 per item
  • Learning aids and jigsaw puzzles under $30
  • Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories under $1,500 when purchased for personal use
