Bagels & Co. takes a chomp out of Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville residents and students can now roll out of bed and chomp on a freshly baked bagel. Bagels & Co. celebrated the grand opening of the newest location, conveniently located in the retail space on the ground level of the HUB Gainesville University (1111 W University Ave., Suite 80) student housing complex, steps from the University of Florida campus. 

“We’ve been looking forward to expanding the Bagels & Co. brand to Gainesville and are so excited to welcome Gator Nation into our new shop,” said Bagels & Co. President and CEO Mike Marsh. “It’s a great location and price point for students, professors, support staff, and visitors to grab breakfast or lunch on the go or sit for a while to catch up with friends and colleagues, relax, study, or get work done.”

Bagels & Co. freshly bakes more than a dozen varieties of Brooklyn-style bagels daily with flavors including French toast, cheddar habanero, everything, blueberry, asiago, cinnamon raisin, whole wheat, and egg everything. Special blue and orange bagels will be made on select game days!

Bagels & Co. is also known for the more than 25 eclectic cream cheese flavors such as maple bacon, birthday cake, black truffle, cookie monster, honey nut, sriracha scallion, and vegan tofu. The café offers additional seasonal bagel and cream cheese flavors, a selection of breakfast sandwiches, and lunch options, as well as coffee and specialty drinks from La Colombe.

The popular quick-serve, family-friendly bagel shop is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Indoor seating is available.

Bagels & Co. accepts catering orders for businesses, hospitals, schools, and gatherings of families and friends. First responders, including police, firefighters and EMTs, nurses, doctors, teachers, veterans, and active military personnel who come to Bagels & Co. in uniform or present their work ID receive 10% off their orders.

Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Bagels & Co. currently has five locations in Philadelphia and four in Florida. Before year’s end, additional Florida locations will open in Pompano Beach and near the Nova Southeastern University campus in Davie. Locations are also coming soon to Columbus, Ohio near The Ohio State University campus, Tampa near the University of South Florida campus, and Hollywood, Florida.
