Blessing of the Badges service to be held on October 22

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Atkins Warren Chapter of NOBLE and Abiding Faith Christian Church will host the Annual Blessing of the Badges Service on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 3 p.m. at 6529 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville.
First Responders (Police, Fire, EMT, Corrections) are invited to attend and will have Clergy bless their badges.
Citizens are invited to attend and support those who sacrifice their lives daily to protect and care for the citizens of this community.
Our Guest Speaker is former Lake City Police Chief and current Leon County Assistant Sheriff, Argatha Gilmore. We will also receive greetings from GPD Chief Lonnie Scott and Alachua County Sheriff Emery Gainey.
The Public and Clergy are encouraged to attend.
