GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Buchholz Players are proud to present the stylish and fast-paced musical “Catch Me If You Can,” based on the incredible true story of con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. This exciting student production will hit the stage on April 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, and 25 at 7:00 p.m., with matinee performances on April 18 and April 25 at 2:00 p.m..
Set in the 1960s, “Catch Me If You Can” follows teenage runaway Frank Abagnale Jr. as he successfully cons millions of dollars while posing as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer, all while being pursued by determined FBI agent Carl Hanratty. Filled with jazzy music, sharp humor, and cinematic storytelling, the show is a thrilling ride about ambition, identity, and the search for belonging.
