Butler welcomes Jeff’s Bagel Run grand opening and announces JD Sports for Butler Town Center

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Butler Enterprises is celebrating continued growth with the grand opening of Jeff’s Bagel Run at Butler Esplanade and the announcement that global sports-fashion retailer JD Sports will join Butler Town Center.
Jeff’s Bagel Run will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, July 31, at 3254 SW 35th Boulevard, next to 4 Rivers Smokehouse. Doors will open at 6:30 a.m., giving Gainesville guests an early start to a weekend filled with fresh bagels, prizes, and special activities.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early for a grand-opening raffle. Anyone in line when the doors open at 6:30 a.m. will be eligible to participate, and one winner will be drawn at 6:31 a.m. The winner will receive one dozen bagels each month for 12 months.
Grand-opening festivities will continue throughout the morning, with a prize wheel and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce at 9 a.m.
The celebration will extend through Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2. Doors will open at 6:30 a.m. each day. During opening weekend, guests who order any large, iced beverage will receive a free koozie while supplies last.
Known for its scratch-made bagels that are boiled and baked fresh throughout the day, Jeff’s Bagel Run also offers freshly whipped cream cheese spreads, coffee, sweets, catering, and rotating specialty flavors. The new Gainesville shop brings another locally rooted dining option to Butler Esplanade and gives early risers, families, students, and visitors a new destination for breakfast and brunch.
Butler Enterprises is also pleased to announce that JD Sports will open a 4,683-square-foot store at Butler Town Center next to Sephora. The retailer is targeting an October 2026 opening.
JD Sports offers footwear, apparel, and accessories for men, women, and children from leading brands including Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, and more. The retailer’s arrival will add another nationally recognized shopping destination to Butler Town Center and expand the center’s selection of sneakers, activewear, and streetwear.
