Camp Kulaqua presents ‘Road to Bethlehem,” Dec. 12-14

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – An immersive Christmas experience is returning to High Springs this weekend, bringing with it family-friendly activities, animals, and a dramatic retelling of the Christmas story.

“Our hope is that every person who walks through ‘Road to Bethlehem’ experiences the true meaning of Christmas in a fresh and memorable way,” says Phil Younts, Executive Director at Camp Kulaqua.

This free event provides families and people of all ages with a low-stress environment that will fuel their holiday spirit. Visitors can stroll through Bethlehem Village while enjoying the sweet scent of spices, petting sheep and miniature horses, and sipping on free hot chocolate and other snacks. The Bethlehem Café is also selling burgers and pizza.

Each evening concludes with a full-scale musical production featuring camels, horses, and more than 100 actors bringing the Biblical Christmas story of Jesus to life. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for comfortable viewing.

Road to Bethlehem opens Friday, Dec. 12, at 5:00 p.m. with the Christmas production beginning at 7:00. It continues nightly through Sunday, Dec. 14, at Camp Kulaqua, 23400 NW 212th Ave, High Springs, FL.
