Canadian musician Kathleen Edwards to perform at Heartwood Soundstage on Jan. 17

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Kathleen Edwards, a 7-time Juno Award-nominated, Polaris Prize short-listed singer and songwriter, will perform Friday, January 17, in the listening room at Heartwood Soundstage. Edwards swirls together alt-country, folk, and heartland rock & roll. It’s a sound that has earned its creator Top 40 success on both sides of the Canadian/American border and even several performances on “Late Night with David Letterman.”
The show will kick off with a performance by opener Lauren Morrow, a Nashville-based, Atlanta-raised singer-songwriter known for her soprano voice and vulnerable vibrato.
