Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit City’s Summer Camp Program

The Gainesville Arts & Parks (GAP) Foundation has scheduled the 2021 GAP Charity Golf Scramble this Saturday, May 8, at the City of Gainesville’s Ironwood Golf Course. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the City’s Summer Camp program through scholarships for area youth. Proceeds from previous years’ events have funded 1,288 weeks of summer camp for Gainesville youth.

When: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8
Where: Ironwood Golf Course, 2100 NE 39 Ave.

Registration fees cost $75 per player, or $275 for a foursome. Register online through this link. Entry fees include green fee, cart fee, range balls, breakfast, and awards luncheon following the tournament. Ironwood Golf Course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

Gainesville Arts & Parks Foundation board members are serving as the host committee for this year’s event. The GAP Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) that serves as an ally in fundraising and advocacy for the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department (PRCA).
